thinking back.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28

I don't normally blog about what I'm feeling. It feels silly to do that sometimes. Its easier to just put up some pictures and write about whats going on in them. But right now I have so many thoughts going on that I feel like I'm going to go crazy. yes.. I know, very dramatic. But its the truth. I don't even know if I want to write about it on here. Or if I even should. So I'm thinking that this blog might not make a lot of sense to a lot of you since I'm pretty sure it will be lacking in detail.

Don't get me wrong. Life is great! I have an amazing husband and son. Jason loves me and takes care of me. He is my best friend. I wouldn't as for more. . . I have a beautiful little boy that cracks me up. He is simply amazing! . I have a wonderful church full of people that I adore. Great friends that treat me the way I should be treated and don't give up. seriously, I'm thankful for so many things..so many people. I'm thankful that I have a Lord that loves me so much, that he forgives me and loves me....even when I cant forgive. . .

Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

people talk about having a wall if front of them. that keeps them from moving forward and keeps them from seeing what is really in front of them. Is it possible for that wall to come and go as it pleases? Or is it always there? What gives me the right to pick and chose the right people to forgive and at what time? Who am I to sit and feel sorry for myself over STUPID things that life throws at me.

Philippians 2.3,4
"Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself;Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."

I feel so selfish. Here I get upset over past friendships, money, my bad haircut, my weight....always afraid of what people think about me..When someone I love has to deal with so much more. Things far worst then I have ever gone through. If I could take everything that has happened to her and put it on me I would. Because I would never wish it on anyone. Ive typed out so many different ways of saying this..but nothing really seems to sound right. I'm just upset with myself for not being able to forgive old friends for stupid reasons when this person I love has to one day forgive a monster. Because if she doesn't it will always be there. I cant fathom how hard that will be. All the petty things don't seem to matter anymore when I think of all she has been through. And everything that she will have to deal with in April and probably for the rest of her life. I just pray that she knows how much we all love her and that we are all here for her. That God will take care of her and help her if she will let him.

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

Even if the judgement in April doesn't go exactly the way we want it to. just remember that God will take care of you. and God will "take care" of this man. He is the ultimate judge and will give this man what he deserves. .

Psalm 75:6-7
No one from the East or the West or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.

Psalm 46"

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."

Well hello Christmas!

I know we say this every year..But can you believe its Christmas already!? Time has passed so quickly and our little guy is now on his second Christmas. He was so little last year. Just starting to smile. I remember that night like it was yesterday. Now its almost Christmas again and he just starting to walk and say new words. The other day Tanya was here and Ty was playing with his toys. He looked up and said "OH WOW!" It was great! I really do consider those to be his first words/phrase.

Anyway, back to Christmas. Its time to break out the boxes of Christmas decor and purchase an amazingly huge Christmas tree. We actually have room for on this year! I can see it now. Tyler attempting to eat the fallen pine needles and curiously pulling all the ornaments off the bottom of the tree. I'm excited for these small things because it means new memories. And yes. We do plan on taking him to see Santa. I
have a feeling it wont go as well this year as it did the last. ;0)

last Year Jason and I showed up to my Grandmas house to find that we missed out on singing Christmas carols with my family! I heard it was hilarious! My aunt handed out musical instruments to everyone (we have a big family) and they sang Christmas carols and made a lot of noise. And I'm sure a few tears were shed from laughing so hard. I WILL NOT miss out of that this year. I could just imagine the looks people outside of our family would give us. And that makes me laugh. My family might be a little nutty. but I'm ok with that ;0)

Here it is! The wish list.

1. elliptical
2. wii fit
3. cozy slippers
4. A new awesome camera!
5. keyboard
6. a really big picture frame

wow. I really thought I had a lot more..and since no one can afford half that stuff on my list, I'm assuming my feet will be warm with those cozy slippers ;0) ............(list to be updated soon ;0) )

Hello!!

So yesterday was mine and Jasons 3 year anniversary!! I really cant believe that 3 years has gone by so quickly. Time does fly. We went to the Madonna Inn for dinner. Its kind of a tradition for us. I love it there. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is great. So that was a lot of fun. It was just something simple to do for the day. The real anniversary gift will be on monday. We are going to spend the day in Avila and then spend the night at Avila bay resort. Its almost half price if you stay during the week. I cant wait just relax and sit on the balcony, sip some wine and enjoy the ocean. We haven't had time away together like this since...well, our honeymoon? Im not quite sure what else we will do. Maybe just walk around the beach and check out the stores. Does anyone have any suggestions? I guess I could google it ;0) ( I have to say, that my husband is the most wonderful man. Its hard to put in words how much you love someone. Im just so happy he is the one I get to spend the rest of my life with. I wouldn't have it any way.)

So not much has been going on lately. Just hanging out and working on being healthy. OH YEAH! Tanya came in to down for a much needed visit. That was a TON of fun. We played games and went to my cousins birthday party..spent some time at church. It was great having her here. I just wish the visit wasn't so short. I cant wait until she can come back on break..I cant wait until she completely done with school! Then I can have my best friend back ... I miss her..

To end this blog. My son is going to be one on Halloween!! How crazy is that? He is getting big. He can clap now, stand on his own...Walking will be in no time. I love him.

"unless you throw up, pass out, or die..DO NOT GET OFF THAT TREADMILL." - Jillian Michaels (she's crazy)

I have to admit. I am a fan of reality TV..

The show that I am watching right now is The biggest Loser. I really respect these people for putting it all out there. They have to wear very little as to show the world just how overweight they are And so we can clearly see the changes in them physically. to make things worst for these people they display their weight to the world. I understand why they do it though. you get to this point where you don't care anymore and will do anything to get the weight off. (in a healthy way hopefully) even if that means humiliating yourself in front of the world. I know how much it means to them. in the end someone wins $250,000..But you never hear them talk about the money. because that's not why they are there.. . I think I'm at that point. seriously. I would go on that show even if it meant I had to look awful in front of America while I worked out. Even if it meant I had to tell everyone how much I weigh and wear the horrible outfits. I would feel bad for America for having to look at me lol. but I would do it. Anyway. In the first week these people dropped 9-28 lbs!!! It was amazing. They work so hard. In three months these people manage to drop as much as 110lbs. Some only 50- or 60. But that is still awesome. If only I could afford a personal trainer to work with me 4 hours a day..Six or seven times a week..Yeah right. ;0)

...BIG BROTHER! I'm kind of ashamed to admit it. Its not known to be the purist of all shows. Its just a bunch of people stuck in one house. They compete and think up strategies to keep themselves and their alliances safe from eviction.. And when you are nosey, like I am, its very interesting and entertaining. To bad its over and I have moved on to better shows. ;0) until next season that is.

its not hard to get attached to people in these shows. I think that's why I like them. I want to see them succeed..and it gets me motivated.. I'm talking more about the biggest loser. It makes me want to work harder with the weight loss. Those are the only two I really watch. I'm not to interested in the others. Anyone else out there watch?

So here are some pictures to update you on life.

Stephanies Birthday. If you cant tell, we had a lot of fun. And yes, those are tambourines! I love those girls. look at how much fun we have together!

Shannons 19th Birthday! Good times. We started the night off at her house, then to some amazing Italian Restaurant in SLO. We ended the night with a dance off a between shannon and Shaun. (sisters boyfriend) It was hilarious

SAVE THE MOSQUITO'S!!!!! As Dave Way would say. That was a lot of fun. It was nice to be on staff and not have to play the disgusting games. Although, they did challenge the women staff with a sardines contest. So that pretty much didn't happen. It was awful!! Anyway, I don't know who made the posters this year, but they did a good job. I have to admit though. No one will ever do better then Mr. Shaw when he made posters for kickback. Those were some good times!

Magic Mountain! Lots of fun. It was "Christian" day so we decided to check it out. not so much for the rides but for the bands. Jeremy camp was there!! He was amazing just as I expected. Very entertaining and dreamy I must say. Shhhh don't tell my husband ;0) jk I think he would agree with me..hehe. I love that Jeremy camp makes his concert all about Jesus. That makes me happy. Thousand food Krutch played as well. I wasn't impressed. It didn't help that they were self centered and didn't mention God once. But they were entertaining I guess. All in all a great time. It was nice to get out.

Now to Tyler. He got his first tooth today!! about darn time. He will be 11 months at the end of the month. The other one is about to pop out as well. He didn't have any problem with it. Thank God! Im hoping that it will go well with the other teeth. It really didnt seem to bother him at all. I cant get a picture though. He always sticks his tongue out when I try to look. He started walking while hold on to his car. its pretty cute. Here is the video. its really bad quality sorry!!

Now a list about Tyler. I love him.

1. He says "hi" and waves. Sometimes with both hands..that's pretty cute.

2. He puts the phone up to his ear on his own hoping someone will be on the other line.

3. when he gives me a hug he goes "oooohhhhhhhh" and pats my back. hehe. I love it!!
.
4. When I dance around with him he goes "la la la la la la" music to my ears ;0) you should see his smile.
.
5. He stands in the window and watches me (or anyone else) when we leave. Usually waving as we walk away.
.

.
6. He is terribly afraid of the red robin bird...poor guy!
.

.
7. He likes to bite noses....
.

.
8. He just might marry Cosette! He loves her!
.

.
Can you blame him though?
.

I'm not sure that she feels the same though lol
.

.
Last picture!! My little frog. So cute.
.

.
.
I'm sure there is more I can add to this. but I think it is long enough. enjoy!

I want to know

Hey guys. If you can, please give me your opinion on these questions and if you can a biblical answer. I would like to hear your thoughts on these.. Just something I'm struggling with and really need help with..Its hard for me to explain the situation because I don't want to go in to detail on here or cause more drama. ... sorry. you don't have to answer all of them. maybe just a few. whatever you feel will help. Thank you!!

1. Is forgiveness a conscious choice, or an emotional state?

2. How do we forgive when we don't want to forgive? How do we translate the decision to forgive into a change of heart?

3. How will we know if we have truly forgiven?

4. Is it okay to feel anger and want justice for the person we need to forgive?

5. When you forgive someone, does the bitterness go away?

6. How do you forgive someone who isn't willing to accept responsibility for what they have done?

This is a real issue. I'm not just bored. I really need personal and biblical advice... And maybe someone else out there is struggling with the same issue? I am praying about this and I am searching for answers by reading the bible. But I could use some help with this.

Thank you!!

Bumps and bruises

Wow..I'm sorry. I have not been able to get myself to write a blog...So here I am, still don't want to write. but I will force myself. Here are some pictures of what my little man accomplished/experienced for the first time last month. (in no particular order)

STANDING UP! First the story though. ...... Tyler decided it would be a good idea to eat a fake leaf from a plant. I didn't see him stick it in his mouth because he was facing the other direction playing with his toys..I had no clue he was choking because he wasn't making any noise. He just looked at me like he was terrified and started turning blue..YES ...BLUE. I flipped him over and hit his back. then reached in and pulled out the little leaf. Don't worry, he was fine. Just scared...Anyway, I put him in his crib so I could clean up. (he was throwing up after I got the leaf out...nice...) I walked in his room and there he was! standing at his crib. This was the first time he had done this and was very proud. so I took some pics..

Lets not forget about the crawling..and he figured out how to sit himself up!

Tyler went to the beach for the first time and went swimming. He was pretty much weirded out by both of them. As you can tell by the look on his face.

It didn't take him long, and he was exhausted. The water was just so relaxing that he fell asleep on his Aunt Steph.
And as for the beach, he eventually liked it..but still thought it was pretty weird.
He went on his first bike ride! I got this carrier for $40 on craigslist and the bike for $30. YAY! I was pretty excited about it. Tyler loves going on bike rides. its a lot of fun.
His first fathers day. He is definitely a daddy's boy. I love the huge smile he gets on his face every time he sees him.
Tyler also started waving at people and copying people when they make faces at him.

There is so much more..I just cant remember right now. My next blog will be more about whats going on in life. im just lazy. sorry. Anyway, I leave you with some videos..enjoy..or don't..its all good.

Im back

Sorry!!! Its been a long time. And I'm the one always complaining that no one updates their blogs. eek. Anyway, Softball is over. I had a blast though. The girls were a lot of fun most of the time...There was times when I wanted to rip my hair out. ;0) But all in all , I love them and miss them and cant wait until next season! Here is a picture of the girls thanks to Bethany Armsheimer photography. pretty cute huh!

So My baby is 7 month now!! crazy. He has accomplished a lot the past month. Sitting up without us having to hold him up, and now crawling! It was the craziest thing ever! I was on the phone he was on the ground playing with his toys. I looked down to check on him and he was all the way across the room doing the army crawl! I couldn't believe it. there was no warning at all. He just figured it out. here is a video of my little man

Here is his 7 month shot. I think its pretty cute. I love him.
So lets talk about the amount of pregnant people and babies there are right now. I think there are probably 4-5 pregnant ladies in Sunday school. There is no telling how many people in the entire church are pregnant. I see them everywhere. I think Chet is right. There must be something in the water. Lordy. Did anyone happen to watch Becky's video on her blog and how she told nick and her family she is pregnant? If not, check it out. Its awesome! Congrats Becky. Im really happy for you! And all you other pregnant people. Speaking of babies, here are a couple pictures of the new additions to my family.

This is baby Hannah. My Aunt Debbie and Uncle Mikes baby. She is Beautiful!! She is a month old now and very precious. (pictures by Beth Armsheimer)
This is Jamie. He belongs to Jenny who is pretty much family ;0) He is such a sweet little guy. He's pretty big, I'm sure he will catch up to Tyler in no time.
My cousin Kara should be having her baby in no time. Im pretty sure she has been dilated to 4cm for over a week now. poor thing.
Family camp! Wow, that was amazing! what a good time. It was so much fun getting to know everyone. Its crazy how you can go to a church for such a long time and not know people simply because they sit on the other side of the sanctuary. pretty sad. But Jason and I got to know a lot of people better. It was pretty cool. Anyway, in chapel we talked about moving forward in life to finish the race. And the prize is eternity with Christ. Sounds simple, but it was pretty awesome. It just reminded me to let go of the past and things that have happened and to just start over. The goal is to Glorify God and spend eternity with him. I cant wait. Seriously, im excited. Here are some pictures to sum up the weekend.
I love that Tyler sleeps in his own room in his crib, but I have to admit it was an amazing feeling to wake up and see his happy face in the morning. Being greeted with a smile by your baby is the best feeling. what a way for Jason and I to start out the day. What a little blessing.
Tyler getting ready for breakfast.
Mine and Jasons view during worship. I know that a lot of you have had this experience. To hear everyone in that small sanctuary praising God. It is seriously breathtaking . What a great experience. Not to mention I got to lead worship with my best friend and husband. That was simply amazing. Tyler did have quite the fan club at camp. It was very cute. And he loved it ;0)

Go team Hylton! ok, that was lame. but I did have a great time working with jason as a team this weekend.
Tyler is a climber now. I love that smile!

Thankyou so much for all the help Jimmy and Jackie!! you guys saved the day...well, the weekend actually!
I will write more later. im really tired. goodnight!!

"comparison is the thief of Joy"

Knowing me I will start writing this, Get a whole paragraph written and then give up. Trust me. I have started a new blog at least 4-5 times. But then I get quite bored and quit. Just like most of you have quit reading this boring blog already ;0) For those of you who are still reading, this is what has been going on...............

So yeah. I got a job! Starting In August im going to be watching Stephanie and Ryan Burks baby girl. Im really excited. Ive been praying for a job like this and God provided. I never thought he wouldnt though. The cool thing is that Its only 4 days a week and the baby will be 7 months when she starts and tyler will be 10 months. so thats pretty close. They will have a lot of fun playing together. Im really excited. If anyone needs a babysitter until then let me know. Im still looking for jobs until August. Thanks guys!

I signed up for a personal trainer at Gold Gym. I wasn't planning on it, but I talked them down in price like crazy. I figured that if I'm not going to push myself then I'm going to pay someone else to. And Its been good. I meet with my trainer, Sara, 3-4 times a week. Well, I try at least. She is great to. I really like her. We have a lot in common and know a lot of the same people. She is very easy to talk to and she pushes me past what I believe my limit to be. So yeah, I'm always sore. But that's her job right? I'm enjoying it and dreading it at the same time. Its nice to have an awesome trainer to. It feels like I'm just meeting up with a friend to work out..except they tell me what to do. lol

Tyler is getting big. Goodness, the child is almost six months old! I cant believe it. Its sad to me because I know he wont be a baby forever. Then again its exciting because he is changing everyday and accomplishing new things . The cool thing about being a mom (or dad) is that your children never cease to amaze you. I think that even when Tyler is 30 years old im still going to look at the things he does and think he is a freakin genius. ;0) I never want that feeling to go away. Its funny how the little things are just so exciting. He develops new laughs, new crys, and new facial expressions everyday. Its very exciting to watch him grow and learn new things. I just love him.

lets talk about the office and how great it is that the show is finally back on. Jason and I couldn't be happier. Here are some of my favorite quotes from last nights episode. They are not that funny if you don't watch the show..just thought I would add that.

1. Kelly- "If I created a website with this many problems I would kill myself"

Ryan- "do you have a question Kelly"

Kelly- "yeah, I have a lot of questions. Number one.....How dare you."

I loved that conversation.

2. Micheal- "Wow, this place is packed"

Dwight- "Fire Hazard"

ha.

3. Dwight - "If I'm dead, you guys have been dead for weeks"

4. Dwight- "Maybe you have a bladder infection. I'll order you some cranberry juice" (on Ryan going to the bathroom to do drugs all the time....I'm assuming he has a drug problem)

Last but not least. I'm sure we all remember this moment

5. Toby- " I have an announcement....to make...I am moving to Costa Rica. Thought about it for a long time...now I'm finally gonna do it. So I'm just gonna hop the fence and job home now."

lol..nice

Like I said. If you don't watch the show and understand the characters, then those quotes wont mean much to ya.

So I don't really know what else to write. My life is exciting to me right now. But im not sure how many are interested. lol so I will just end this with some pictures. love you all!

I LOVE when his little hat falls sideways. My little man..lolOne of my aunts got Tyler this cute blowup bathtub. Its a little duck and it actually quacks. He loves it.
Lol, My brother in law got Tyler a bouncer . He wasn't to fond of it at first but now he loves it!
The bible study and worship night at Aimys was pretty awesome. I'm attempting to make fun of my friend Meagan but I just made myself look like an idiot..lol nice.Tyler LOVES jimmy. And Jimmy pretty much tries to kidnap him whenever he gets the chance. Who here actually thinks They can wait a couple years to have a kid? Not Me!

Yeah..This is pretty crazy right? Well, we are a little crazy. Jason really needed a hair cut. Gotta love him though.

My best friends Stephanie and Tanya..Love that my best friends are also family. woo hoo.. Don't ask about my face. I don't know whats going on there.

Chris, My other Best friend playing guitar for Tyler. He loves it. He's used to Jason playing all the time.

This picture here pretty much explain the person chris is..He is a crack up.

What?

"he exposed the sophisticated intellectual opposition to objective being and objective value for the naked folly that it was. "

Ummm. what? seriously guys. If you only had to read that sentence once and had full understanding of it then you are a freaking genius. Or maybe I should just go back to school. Who knows. Listen John Piper. If for some odd reason you decide to go on the Internet and read Ashley Hyltons Blog and see this.... Do you think you could maybe lay of the thesaurus?

I really want to read this book that the church gave us. Its called Don't Waste your life. I started reading it and it has great stories and outlook on things. But Let me tell you. I have never googled so many words in my life! You know the sentence above? that is how 90% of the book is. The other 10% that I can understand is great. But it would be wonderful if I could understand the rest of it. I know that writing should be creative, but if people cant understand it because it is to complex, then whats the point. Im not questioning your integrity Mr. Piper. Because the truth is, I might be the only person that cant understand what the heck you are talking about. And for my blogger friends. If you know what he is talking about. Don't tell me. just make me feel better and tell me you are just as confused as I am.

On that note. I will continue to read this book ..and Try to understand it to the best of my ability. but I'm not promising anything.

"existentialism was the air we breathed"

I have to admit. Existentialism was probably the first word I googled as I read this book. I learned that this meant "existence precedes essence." first you exist and then , by existing you create your own purpose, or meaning to life as opposed to deities or authorities creating it for you. I guess I learn something new everyday right?

anyway, he talked about Bob Dylans song Blowin in the Wind. (which is the first song Mrs. Elder taught me on guitar) "how many times must a man look up before he can see the sky?" He said "you may look up ten thousand times and say you don't see it. But that has absolutely no effect on its objective existence. It is there. And one day you will see it."

when I read this I instantly thought of Philippians 2:9-11.
"God has given him a name which is above every name – that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"

I know that for most of you that is a common verse. To be honest I have heard it a millions times over and I have to admit that It never really hit me until now. I seriously cannot wait for that day. Have you ever pictured what it will be like? (alright. stop singing I can only imagine!) Imagine everyone, and I mean everyone, on their knees worshiping God at the same time. I think of Hume Lake, and how moved I am to see everyone with hands in the air worshiping God together. . Its a wonderful feeling to be surrounded by others that Love God like that . Take that feeling and multiply it by...I don't know, a million? I don't even think that is enough. I just know its going to be amazing and it will never go away. Not when you have an eternity in Heaven.

So, I'm sorry if that was a boring blog. I feel like a new christian that is hearing these amazing things for the first time. A part of me is sad about that, but happy that im finally getting somewhere. Im still learning, I guess we should never really stop learning right?

between you and God.

BETWEEN YOU AND GOD
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the end, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway.
–Mother Teresa

This is seriously amazing. I want to know your thoughts on this. I think She is right. It is between myself and God. And he knows my true motives, he knows the truth about everything and in the end it only matters what God thinks. He knows the truth, so therefor im not going to worry about it anymore. Being worried and holding back will only push me away from God. And having a relationship with him means more to me then anything. Even if that means I have to lose some..

Now on to my question that has nothing to really do about that.

When I pray for something over and over and over again does that mean I lack faith? Im serious. I really dont know the answer. Having Faith means "having complete confidence in a person or plan." So when I continually pray for certain things does that mean I dont have faith that God will help me with it? I feel like I do, but why do I pray the same thing over and over? If you have an answer please let me know.

Matthew 6:7-8 says:
But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathens do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

I came across this and it confused me. So im just interested in what you guys think. I could be taking this whole verse the wrong way. sometimes I fail to see the real meaning in what im reading. I think we all do that though sometimes. That's why I think Fellowship is so important for us. The past week I have been talking to my friend about some things that are going on and its crazy how they can bust out a verse, that before they explained it to me, had no relevance to my situation. I love when God reveals things to people like that. Its like singing the same song at church every sunday and it really doesn't mean anything to you. But then the next Sunday you sing it and it hits you more then ever and all of the sudden it has meaning. That's how the bible has been for me lately. I really need to read my bible more. I lack so badly in that department. But its getting better. So you guys can pray for me k. That I can have a better understanding of Gods word and that I keep up the bible reading.

ps. My Easter update will be up in a few days! woo hoo. ;0)
